Wintertollwood 2019 on the Teresienwiese
The whole festival is a stage! In the theater tent, the Hungarian Nouveau Cirque company will delight you with breathtaking acrobatics and on the wintry Tollwood grounds, you will encounter some luminous and fascinating figures - as if from another world. Lisa Eckhart, Helmut Schleich and Andreas Rebers, among others, provide cabaret highlights during their performances in the Weltsalon.
In panel discussions, lectures and interactive installation spaces, the Weltsalon addresses the question of values and our responsibility for (survival) on this planet. Participants include Prof. Dr. Harald Lesch, Margarete Bause, Franz Alt and many more. Charity concerts, a poetry slam, children's events and cabaret evenings show that saving the world is hard work: Saving the world is exhausting, but it can also be fun!
The music doesn't just play at the Tollwood Summer Festival! In winter, the local, regional and national music scene presents itself in the Hexenkessel, in the new British pub "The Silent Knight" and at selected benefit concerts in the Weltsalon.
Tollwood's "Market of Ideas" stands for organic culinary delights and handicrafts from all over the world as well as a cozy get-together in the run-up to Christmas. In the market tents "Bazar" and "Mercato" as well as on the open-air grounds, visitors can look over the shoulders of the artisans and look for a suitable Christmas present for others or themselves.
During the Tollwood Festival, art plays a major role throughout the grounds - and the diverse installations always have a message. In this way, they not only visually enrich the festival, but also encourage people to think and get active.
In the children's tent, children can make things, do research and listen to exciting stories. This is where young festival visitors get their money's worth and can try things out for themselves. This winter, the motto in the children's tent is "Curtain up for good values". This requires good cooperation and that can only be achieved with respect, helping, sharing and lots of fun!
In the Weltsalon, there will be a children's concert by Rodscha from Cambodia and Tom Palme, a talk by "Checker" Tobi Krell and children's theater by pohyb's und konsorten.
In the Hexenkessel, young Tollwood visitors can look forward to a great concert every Saturday, including rock by Schlawindl and mini disco with Donikkl.
Whether at the glamorous gala with the "Paris de Nuit" show and 5-course organic menu or at the hip New Year's Eve party: Tollwood is the perfect place to bid a festive farewell to the old year and welcome in the new. With lots of live bands, DJs and the traditional midnight waltz, the Tollwood grounds are transformed into one big party location!

Sun - Wed until 11.30pm, Thu - Sat until midnight

Mon - Sat until 0.30 am, Sun until 11.30 pm
On 23.12. the festival closes at 10 pm.
The entire festival will be closed on 24 & 25 December.
The "Market of Ideas" (incl. catering stands) will then be dismantled. From 26.12. to 30.12. only "Paris de Nuit" can be seen in the Spiegelzelt. The rest of the festival is closed on these days. The Tollwood Festival ends with the New Year's Eve events.
